What Does A Chicken Nugget Contain?
February 23rd, 2010So, what is in those golden little thingys? Chicken meat? No? Here are some chocking secrets for all you chicken nugget lovers!
If you eat out a lot, and like to have some chicken nuggets for lunch, you should be aware of that you are scammed. What you get is not the real thing! You get bad processed food that contains a little bit of real chicken and also the following ingredients:
- autolyzed yeast extract
- sodium phosphates
- safflower oil
- dextrose
- wheat starch
- water
Sounds tasty? No! In addition to the above, a standard industrial nugget has something like 20 other chemicals in it too. Wendy’s Chicken Nuggets has 30 ingredients total and Burger King Chicken Fries has a whopping 35 ingredients. The McNugget is a little bit better, but not by a lot.
Educate yourself on what you eat. Refuse to be a passive consumer! What most people need to do is to take care of their bodies and eat right. Get a bit of exercise, get a fat binder to help out, and eat quality food.
